Serebro took part in the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki and finished at the prestigious third position, Verka Serduchka taking on them. Whatever critics say, however well or bad the girls sing, they deserve some attention.
Elena Temnikova was born on 18 April, 1985 in the town of Kurgan. She started singing at the age of five. "I remember one of my first teachers," Elena says, "who had gigantic feet, which I enjoyed very much. Today I have time for nothing else, but work. There is even little time for meeting friends... I cannot give up reading... and I enjoy very much and now I miss sauna... I know that I will never be an "average woman", because there will never be a man who will change my character. Perhaps all my life long I will b e living surrounded by music and... lovers!" Elena loves chatting on the Internet. Elena says that what gives her real pleasure is, pr rather are, the stage, sex, and fast cars.
Olya Seryabkina was born in 12 April 1985 in Moscow. When she was 7, she began practising ball dances, and 10 years later she got the title "candidate for master of sport". She took part in many international competitions. Olya finished a school of arts in "pop singing". In 2006 she got her university degree in translation. She loves dancing. Her nature is of a warrior. Always on the move, she hates wasting her time not doing anything. I love sport and chocolate," Olya says.
Marina Lizorkina was born in Moscow too. She absolutely adores driving... fast and big cars. "I can't bear it, if I'm not at the wheel for more than a day. And I can't stand the sight of sick and hungry animals, I always have to help them..." Marina loves oil painting. She draws aliens, creatures from other worlds in the universe. "My pictures produce strange feelings in people," Marina admits, "because everyone can find a piece of themselves in them." She doesn't like speaking of music in terms of genres and styles. "I love people," Marina says, "I love the world, life, and everything I do."
